Belden 8402 — Two-Conductor Microphone Cable

Belden 8402 is a classic two-conductor shielded audio cable originally designed for rugged microphone and balanced analogue audio applications.

Two flexible 20 AWG stranded tinned-copper conductors are insulated in EPDM and surrounded by a tinned-copper braided shield with 85% coverage. Rayon braid, cotton wrapping and the brown CSPE outer jacket give the 8402 its characteristic construction and robust mechanical behaviour.
